Welcome to Michigan Design Educators Association!
You are invited to participate in a unique opportunity specifically designed for secondary, post-secondary educators, and teachers in training. This organization was created in response to requests from Michigan teachers who desired a resource to expand their knowledge, become updated on industrial practices, and provide professional development opportunities meaningful to their career.
The MDEA is a professional organization that is run by the membership to meet the needs of the members. At our annual fall conference we hold elections where input from the membership will assist in guiding future activities of the association. Your input is very important so the association will meet the needs of design educators. Our goal is to create a way for design educators to meet, collaborate, and share ideas to promote careers in our field.
Mission Statement
The Michigan Design Educators Association is committed to promoting the continuing education and professional development of design educators, dedicated to providing lifetime career opportunities.
